Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. eggs 1 dozen
  2. sugar
  3. ghee
  4. mawa / khoya 1/2kg
  5. Elachi pwder of 2 pods


  1. Take a big pot and break all the eggs.
  2. Pour the eggs in the vessel you wish to cook(we prefer a copper vessel)Nonstick will do
  3. Now take the sugar and add in the pot in which you had broken the eggs.Take the same level as the eggs
  4. Same goes for ghee.
  5. Ideally, the recipe calls for an equal quantity of eggs ghee and sugar. But since we cannot measure liquids and solids we prefer the traditional same level method.
  6. Stir the eggs sugar and ghee. Whisk once or twice and start the flame
  7. Keep stirring all the while(yes its labour of love)
  8. From liquid, it will transform to semi solid state.All the while keep stirring.add mawa during this stage
  9. Soon the mixture will turn golden and a lovely aroma fills the house
  10. Transfer to a greased plate/ thali and make squares and garnish with nuts
  11. I got 2 plates out of this so added badam and pista both in 1 and 1 only badam
  12. Enjoy when its warm
