Ingredients to make Bakarkhani

  • Refind flour (Maida) 250 gm.
  • egg - 1
  • Milk 100 ml
  • Fresh cream 40gm
  • sugar 20gm
  • clarified butter (Ghee) 100gm
  • Baking Powder 5-6gm
  • Sodium Bicarb- 1 pinch
  • salt to taste

How to make Bakarkhani

  1. In a bowl, take milk, egg, fresh cream, sugar, salt, sodiam bicarb, baking powder and mix very well; then keep it aside.
  2. Now, take the flour and some of ghee and mix very well. Add the mixture of milk in it and make a soft dough. Keep it aside for 30 mins.
  3. Now divide the dough into equal portions and make round shaped roti
  4. Heat a frying pan and fry one by one with ghee. Fry till it becomes golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with any spicy curry and Salad.
