Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. cow's milk 1 liter
  2. 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  3. sugar 1 cup
  4. water 4 cups
  5. cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  6. kesar 1 pinch
  7. almond and pistachio flakes- 2 tablespoon


  1. boil milk and cool it
  2. Strain and boil it again
  3. add lemon juice and it will start curdling
  4. now pass it through muslin cloth
  5. discard whey
  6. Tie paneer in the cloth
  7. wash it with cold water
  8. its better to wash it under running tap water
  9. sqeeze it and remove paneer from cloth
  10. take out in plate and mash it with your palm
  11. put water and sugar for boiling on flame
  12. make small balls out of paneer
  13. when sugar boils add paneer balls to it
  14. keep flame high for 10 minutes. Lower the flame for another 5 minutes
  15. while boiling cover with lid
  16. now switch off the gas
  17. after sometime add cardmom powder
  18. chill it in refrigerator for sometime
  19. while serving garnish with kesar strands
  20. top with little badam and pistachio flakes
