Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup Wheat Flour
  2. 1/2 cup besan(gram dhal flour)
  3. 1/4 Jowar flour (Jolada)
  4. 1/4 cup rice flour
  5. 1/2 teaspoon ajwain seeds ( Celery Seeds)
  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt ( to taste)
  7. 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  8. 1 pinch Hing (optional)
  9. 1 teaspoon ghee (for kneading and applying)
  10. Water for dough (as required)

Instructions

  1. Mix all the flour and spices in a deep vessel
  2. Add ghee and rub well
  3. Add water a little by little to make a dough, and keep for 10 minutes
  4. Now make equal size balls from the dough
  5. Dust the dough balls with flour and flatten the dough with a rolling pin
  6. Place the roti on the hot tava(pan) cook both sides till it's done.
  7. Apple ghee on top roti and serve hot with your choice of vegetables
