Ingredients to make Crisp Punjabi Parantha

  • 2 cups atta
  • 3/4 cup besan
  • 1 cup green onion leaves
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup boiled moong dal
  • 1/4 cup carrot grated
  • 1/4 cup beetroot leaves
  • 2 tbs methi chopped
  • 2 tbsp garlic leaves
  • 2 tbsp green chilli
  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp green capsicum
  • 1 tbsp hung curd
  • 1 tbsp mango pickle oil
  • 2 tsp ajwain
  • 1/4 cup water (if required )
  • salt to taste

How to make Crisp Punjabi Parantha

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead a dough. Cover and let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Make seven round balls of this dough . Make paranthas with the dough
  3. Cook it on tawa for 3 minutes until it turns golden in colour.
  4. Serve

Pan fry with desi ghee
