Peanut Chikki

Ingredients to make Peanut Chikki

  • 250 gm jaggery/Gur
  • 250 gm peanuts
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp elaichi Powder

How to make Peanut Chikki

  1. Mix gur and water in a deep bottom pan. Cook it on high flame till the water and gur is well dissolved and mixed. Cook till it becomes creamy.
  2. Once you get the consistency, reduce the flame or it will burn. Check by taking a drop on a plate. After 2-3 minutes, if it turns hard, it is done. Else, cook further
  3. Once done add the roasted peanuts to the gur and mix well. immediately transfer it to the greased plate and roll it with the rolling pin. Cut it into squares and let it cool.
  4. Chikki is ready
