Amritsari Kulcha

Ingredients to make Amritsari Kulcha

  • 1/2 kg maida
  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • coriander
  • pomegranate seeds
  • chopped green chilly
  • water to make dough
  • oil as required

How to make Amritsari Kulcha

  1. Take maida and add water to make smooth dough add a pinch of salt in it.
  2. Keep it in the fridge for 2-3hours to rest .
  3. Divide dough into equal parts and make round balls.
  4. For stuffing -
  5. Boil and mash the potatoes. Add salt, pepper. green chilly and coriander. mix them properly.
  6. Now take one maida ball roll it a little. Add potato dough again make round ball
  7. Roll a little length wise to make kulcha.
  8. Heat tava ,oven or cooker . Place kulcha in it change side when cooked . Apply oil and change side.
  9. Remove it, add butter and serve with chole and chutney
