Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida - 1 cup
  2. Suji - 1/4 th cup
  3. Khoya - 1/2 cup
  4. Milk - 1 cup
  5. Elaichi powder - 1 tsp
  6. Sugar syrup -
  7. Sugar - 3 cup
  8. Water - 2 cups
  9. Ghee/refined oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients excluding sugar, water, and oil to form a batter like dosa.
  2. Rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Make a sugar syrup with sugar and water of one string consistency.
  4. Heat ghee + oil in a Kadhai. When it gets hot, put a ladle of the Maida mixture.
  5. Fry on both the sides, this will puff up like pooris.
  6. Strain the malpua from oil and dip in the sugar syrup. Let them be in the sugar syrup for a couple of hours. Serve
