Makki Ki Roti

Ingredients to make Makki Ki Roti

  • Makki atta- 1 and 1/2 cup
  • wheat flour 1/2 Cup
  • Shredded radish 1
  • ginger Chopped 1 inch
  • onion Chopped 1
  • Green onions - Chopped 4
  • Ajwain - 2 tsp
  • rock salt - 1 tsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • green chillies - 2 chopped
  • amchur powder- 1 tsp
  • anardana powder - 1 tsp.
  • ghee - 3 tbsp

How to make Makki Ki Roti

  1. Mix all the ingredients except ghee and make a dough with water.
  2. Take some dough and roll it in a circle.
  3. Put it on hot tawa and cook it pressing from both sides.
  4. Take out from tawa and cook it on fire till the roti is properly cooked.
  5. Apply ghee on it.
  6. Make other rotis in similar manner.
  7. Serve them hot with sarsoo ka saag and gur/jaggery.

My Tip:

While rolling the rotis, it might break a little. Don't worry, gather it with hands and shape it properly.
