ABOUT Mixed Lentils Dosa RECIPE

Super crisp dosa made with mixed lentils. It is very healthy and tastes delicious. I made this for my little one. No rice and no fermentation of the batter.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Whole Green Moong - ½ cup
  2. Urad dal - ½ cup
  3. Chickpea - ½ cup
  4. Channa dal - ¼ cup
  5. Yellow Moong Dal - ¼ cup
  6. Toor Dal - ¼ cup
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Water as required
  9. Oil or ghee few tbsps

Instructions

  1. Soak the mixed lentils for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain the water and grind them adding some water.
  3. Adjust the consistency of the batter. It should be like dosa batter. Add salt and mix well.
  4. Heat a tawa. Add a ladleful of the batter and spread it outward from the middle to form a dosa. Drizzle oil/ghee in the edges and over the dosa and let it cook for 2-3 mins till crisp and golden.
  5. Flip over and cook for about 2 mins.
  6. Remove and serve as it is or with any chutney /dal/sambhar of your choice.
