Ingredients to make Sada Thepla

  • 2 Cup Whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4tsp hing
  • 2tsp red chilli powder
  • 1tsp dhania jeera powder
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • oil for cooking
  • Whole wheat flour for rolling

How to make Sada Thepla

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead semi-soft dough with water. knead it well using a little oil
  2. Rest the dough for 10 mins
  3. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll out using dry wheat flour
  4. Heat a tawa and put rolled thepla on tawa and apply 1/2 tsp oil on it and flip. Now apply little oil on the other side and cook both sides till golden in colour.
  5. Serve hot with chunda(sweet grated mango pickle) and curd.
  6. You can have it with tea or aloo subji.

My Tip:

Use curd to knead the dough. It will make soft theplas
