Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Split and dehusked moong daal(bina chilka moong daal)-1 cup
  2. Paneer-50 grams
  3. Boiled potatoes -5 medium size
  4. salt to taste
  5. Green chilli-1
  6. Red chilli powder -1/4 teaspoon
  7. coriander powder-1teaspoon
  8. Dried mango power -1/4 teaspoon
  9. Green coriander -3tablespoons (finally chopped)
  10. Oil-3-4 tablespoons


  1. Soak moong daal for 4hours and grind it. The consistency of daal batter will be same like dosa batter.Add salt in daal batter.
  2. For stuffing, heat a pan and add 2 teaspoons oil into it.add chopped green chilli,salt,coriander powder,red chilli powder,dried mango powder in it and saute for few seconds
  3. Now add boiled and mashed potatoes and mashed paneer in the pan and saute for 3 minutes .turn off the flame.add green coriander in potato mixture.
  4. heat a non-stick tawa. pour a little oil over tawa . Now reduce the flame and pour 1tablespoon daal batter over the tawa and make round pancakes .keep pancakes little thin.
  5. when pancake turns brown on the surface, flip the side and roast from another side also.
  6. place 3 teaspoon stuffing over the pancake and fold the sides over stuffing.
  7. Moong daal pancake is ready . similarly, prepare rest of the pancakes .
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dip
