Ingredients to make Kamala Kheer

  • Orange Segments 1/4 cup
  • Milk 6 Cups
  • sugar 3/4 cup
  • rice soaked and drained 2 tablespoon
  • few kesar strands
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Chopped pistachio for garnishing

How to make Kamala Kheer

  1. Boil milk in a deep non-stick pan.
  2. Add sugar, mix well and stir till sugar dissolves.
  3. Add rice and cook, stirring continuously, till it gets cooked and the mixture thickens.
  4. Add dissolved kesar, mix well and cook for two minutes. Set aside to cool. Also, can cool it in the fridge
  5. Add orange segments and mix well. Chill and serve.
