ABOUT Golpapdi or Sukhdi RECIPE

very healthy dessert,little ghee,wheat flour and jaggery

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 cups wheatflour
  2. 2 tbsp ghee (I have used homemade)
  3. 1cup finely chopped jaggery
  4. 1/2 tsp elaichi powder
  5. 1/4 cup chopped badam and pistachio flakes

Instructions

  1. In heavy bottom pan add ghee
  2. Let ghee become warm
  3. Now add wheatflour
  4. Roast on slow flame till the flour turns golden and a nice aroma comes. Turn off the heat
  5. Add jaggery and mix properly
  6. Add cardamom powder
  7. Mix and spread it in greased plate
  8. Sprinkle badam and pistachio flakes
  9. Cut into desired shape and cool it
  10. Serve
