Ingredients to make Palla Thalikalu

  • 1 cup wheat flour (atta)
  • ½ cup Sago / sabudana
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • ½ tsp Elachi powder
  • Chopped dry fruits for garnishing

How to make Palla Thalikalu

  1. Make a soft dough using water. Divide into small balls. Using hands spread it as thalikalu.
  2. Add 1 cup of water to a pan. Add sago and cook for 15 then add thalikalu and cook for 15 mins.
  3. Add sugar and cook for 10 mins on low medium flame. Add milk and cook for 10 mins on medium flame.
  4. Add elachi powder & dry fruits. Serve.

My Tip:

Don't make thalikalu too thick. Do't over mix the thalikalu.
