ABOUT Bread Rasmalai RECIPE

An excellent dessert or a Diwali friendly sweet to serve and enjoy with your loved ones. Even a beginner can dish out this easy rasmalai with less efforts. Actually, this recipe gets ready very much easier than you can imagine.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups Whole milk
  2. 1/2 cup Sweetened condensed milk
  3. 3 White bread slices
  4. Pinch of saffron strands
  5. 2 Cardamom (crushed)
  6. 1/4 cup Chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Take the milk, sweetened condensed milk in a heavy bottomed pan, boil the milk in low flame for a while.
  2. Add in the saffron strands and cook until the milk turns bit thick, keep stirring continously.
  3. Turn off the flame once the milk turns thick, add half of the crushed nuts, give a stir.
  4. Let it cool completely and arrange in fridge for atleast an hour or two
  5. Meanwhile cut the bread slices as round shaped medium discs with a cookie cutter.
  6. Pour enough malai in a bowl, drop two or three bread slices, let it sit for a minute.
  7. Serve immediately garnished with chopped nuts.
