Ingredients to make Gajar Halwa

  • 6 tsp ghee
  • 2 cups carrot grated
  • 1/4 cup milk powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom Powder
  • To Garnish -
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • cashews
  • raisins

How to make Gajar Halwa

  1. Layer your pressure cooker with half of the ghee.
  2. Spread grated carrots above it.
  3. Next go on with sugar.
  4. Add in the milk powder with the remaining ghee and cardamom powder.
  5. Pressure cook for 8 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a dish. Garnish with nuts and raisins
  7. Serve with a dollop of ice cream
