Bread Pudding

Ingredients to make Bread Pudding

  • 10 slices of bread
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 litre milk
  • saffron strands as per your taste
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 1/3 cup green raisins
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

How to make Bread Pudding

  1. In a mixer grinder, mix and blend together bread milk eggs and sugar to a paste.
  2. In a pan heat ghee and add the paste into it cook until thick and ghee starts to separate.
  3. Then add in saffron and green raisins and stir 2-3 times
  4. Transfer to a baking tray and garnish with some sliced almonds.
  5. Bake in oven at 200 degrees C until golden brown.
  6. When it turns golden brown remove and let it cool.
  7. Then slice it and serve.

My Tip:

You can also add one good day biscuit packet while grinding for a better taste. Can use elaichi powder instead of saffron
