ABOUT Bread Pudding RECIPE

Bread pudding is made from stale bread and milk. With the goodness of dry fruits, it is perfect to serve as a dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 10 slices of bread
  2. 5 eggs
  3. 1/2 cup of sugar
  4. 1/2 litre milk
  5. Saffron strands as per your taste
  6. 3 tbsp ghee
  7. 1/3 cup green raisins
  8. 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. In a mixer grinder, mix and blend together bread milk eggs and sugar to a paste.
  2. In a pan heat ghee and add the paste into it cook until thick and ghee starts to separate.
  3. Then add in saffron and green raisins and stir 2-3 times
  4. Transfer to a baking tray and garnish with some sliced almonds.
  5. Bake in oven at 200 degrees C until golden brown.
  6. When it turns golden brown remove and let it cool.
  7. Then slice it and serve.
