ABOUT Dry Fruit Pots( No Sugar, No Milk) RECIPE

Dry fruit pots are not just delicacies but are the power house of nutrition. These sweets are loaded with the goodness of nuts and dry fruits.There is no added sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Dried figs- 1 cup ( chopped)
  2. Dates- 1cup ( chopped)
  3. Dates paste- 1/2 cup
  4. Almonds, pistachios,cashews ( 1 cup )
  5. Elachi-3 ( powdered)
  6. Ghee-2 spoons
  7. Khus -khus- for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a microwave bowl, add 1/2 cup dates and water and microwave for 3 minutes.
  2. Allow it to cool and then grind to a paste.
  3. In a non- stick pan, add dates paste and little water and cook for 5 mins.
  4. Now add sliced khajoor and dates as shown in the photo and add to dates paste and cook for 10 mins.
  5. In another pan, add a spoon of ghee and roast nuts
  6. When the date paste becomes thick and leaves the pan, add roasted nuts and cook for 5 min and remove from flame.
  7. Allow it to cool and then apply ghee to your palms and take a small dough and make like balls and make a hole in the middle as shown in photo and quickly roll in khus khus seeds.
  8. In the dent e , add roasted nuts and on top place sliced pistachios.
  9. Our dry fruit pots are ready and will stay good upto 1 week in refrigerator.
