Shahi Tukda

Ingredients to make Shahi Tukda

  • Bread slices 6
  • sugar 6 Tablespoon
  • Orange color 1/2 teaspoon
  • ghee 1 cup
  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • pistachios soaked and grated 1 tablespoon
  • Milk 200 ml
  • saffron yellow colour a pinch

How to make Shahi Tukda

  1. Take a sauce pan and add sugar, cardamom powder, orange colour and 1 cup water and make it to boil to make chaashni.
  2. Boil milk with a pinch of saffron yellow colour.
  3. Fry all the bread slices one by one.
  4. Now put all the bread slices in a thali and pour chashni and milk over it.
  5. Cook it in a low flame for few minutes.
  6. Now take out in a dish and garnish it with grated pistachios and chandi ka warq.

My Tip:

Try shahi tukda from Rusk instead of bread slices.
