Cabbage and Capsicum Tawa Pulao

Ingredients to make Cabbage and Capsicum Tawa Pulao

  • Cooked rice: 1 cup
  • Chopped cabbage: 1/4 cup
  • Chopped capsicum: 1/4 cup
  • Chopped onion: 2 tbsps
  • Chopped tomato: 1 tbsp
  • ginger - Garlic paste: 1/4 tsp
  • Pav bhaji masala: 1 tbsp
  • cumin seeds:1 /4 tsp
  • oil: 1 1/2 tbsp
  • lemon juice: 1/2 tsp
  • salt acc. to taste
  • coriander leaves

How to make Cabbage and Capsicum Tawa Pulao

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and saute.
  2. Add onion and fry till light brown.
  3. Add tomato,ginger garlic paste and fry for few minutes.
  4. Add chopped cabbage, salt and pav bhaji masala, mix everything well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Add cooked rice, capsicum, coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Cook on a high flame for a few minutes and switch off the flame.

Don't we need to fry capsicum as well? Aren't they uncooked if added with rice? Please suggest.
