Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup maida
  2. 3 tbsp ghee( moin)
  3. 1 pinch baking soda
  4. 1 cup sugar
  5. Some threads Saffron
  6. 2 tsp ealichi powder
  7. 2 tbsp nuts
  8. Ghee for frying

Instructions

  1. Make sugar syrup of more than one string consistency
  2. Take maida and ghee in a bowl
  3. Add baking soda.
  4. Make a soft dough.
  5. Let it rest for 20-25 minutes.
  6. After that makes small size ball and make thumb prints.
  7. Fry in hot Ghee at medium low flame.
  8. Keep it submerged in the sugar syrup for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove balushahi from sugar syrup
  10. Garnish with nuts and Saffron.
  11. Serve
