ABOUT Chalimidi pans RECIPE

Chalimidi is a traditional and the most important sweet made for every important occassions like marriage, baby shower and festivals.It is believed that this sweet blesses us with good health. Traditional chalimidi is white in colour, but i tried to make pans and so added elachi and pista essence which is in green colour.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Sugar-1 cup
  2. water-1 cup
  3. Rice Flour -1 cup
  4. Anjoor paste
  5. Elachi essense
  6. Tutti fruity

Instructions

  1. Boil sugar and water and then switch off the stove.
  2. Add this to rice flour and make a dough.
  3. Applt ghee to 2 plastic sheets and keep a portion of dough inside and press.
  4. Cut into square pieces
  5. In each square, keep anjoor paste and fold from oppposite sides to form a cone.
  6. Close it with aluminium foil or silver varq.
  7. Garnish with tutti fruity
