Ingredients to make Chalimidi pans

  • sugar-1 cup
  • water-1 cup
  • Rice flour -1 cup
  • Anjoor paste
  • Elachi essense
  • Tutti fruity

How to make Chalimidi pans

  1. Boil sugar and water and then switch off the stove.
  2. Add this to rice flour and make a dough.
  3. Applt ghee to 2 plastic sheets and keep a portion of dough inside and press.
  4. Cut into square pieces
  5. In each square, keep anjoor paste and fold from oppposite sides to form a cone.
  6. Close it with aluminium foil or silver varq.
  7. Garnish with tutti fruity

My Tip:

Chalimidi is traditional made with soaked and dried , powdered rice. Also jaggery, dry coconut and khus khus is used.
