Ingredients to make Chenar Payesh

  • Milk 2 liters
  • sugar 250 gms
  • lime juice 1
  • Dry fruits of your choice
  • Crushed green cardamom 1 tsp

How to make Chenar Payesh

  1. Take 1/2 litre milk and let it boil
  2. Add the lime juice to the boiled milk and let it curdle Your cottage cheese is ready
  3. Now strain it well and mash it and set it aside
  4. Take 1 litre milk and boil it continuously stirring it till it reduces to half
  5. Add the sugar
  6. Mix well and add the cottage cheese
  7. Add cardamom powder
  8. Add the cottage cheese and let everything get incorporated well
  9. Add the dry fruits
  10. Serve chilled

My Tip:

Instead of using full fat milk you can make it with skimmed milk too
