Ingredients to make Chocolate Vrat Cake

  • 1 1/2 cup of singade or vrat ka aata
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tsp vinegar or lemon
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup dry fruits

How to make Chocolate Vrat Cake

  1. Pre heat microwave for 2 to 3 minutes
  2. Sieve dry ingredients like vrat wala aata, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt
  3. Take one bowl. Mix curd and poedered sugar. Mix vigorously. Now add oil milk and vanilla essence.
  4. Mix it and make a paste. Keep for 5 minutes.
  5. Take a micro safe bowl. Grease with oil or butter
  6. Now mix wet and dry mixture together. Pour dry mixture slowly and mix gently.
  7. Mix dry fruits in it
  8. In greased bowl pour cake mixture
  9. Put in the microwave. Microwave it for 8 to 9 minutes.
  10. Let it be in microwave for 5 minutes
  11. Its ready to serve.

My Tip:

You can use maida instead of vrat ka aata. You can use half singade ka aata and half darue ka aata. Bake for 25-30 minutes
