ABOUT Milkcake RECIPE

A delicious milk sweet that is loved by all. This is my recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Full cream milk 1 litre
  2. Sugar 100 grams
  3. Lemon juice /water from curd 2 teaspoons
  4. Clarified butter 2 teaspoons
  5. Chopped dry fruits/milk masala

Instructions

  1. In a nonstick pan heat milk
  2. Stir occasionally
  3. Boil and reduce to 1/3 rd of it's original quantity
  4. Take proper care that milk should not burn or stick to the bottom of the pan
  5. Now add lemon juice or curd water
  6. It will curdle a little
  7. Cook for few more minutes so that it thickens
  8. Now add sugar
  9. Cook stirring continuously
  10. Cook till it starts leaving the sides of the pan
  11. Add clarified butter
  12. Mix it well and transfer it to greased plate
  13. Press it tightly
  14. Keep covered till it cools
  15. Demould it, garnish, cu,t and serve
