Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Arrowroot Powder - 1 cup
  2. sugar - 3/4 th of a cup
  3. Milk - 2 cup
  4. cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  5. Chopped nuts -2 tbsp
  6. water - 2 cup


  1. Start by mixing arrowroot powder and water. Keep aside.
  2. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan.Once it starts to boil ,reduce the flame and add sugar and cardamom.
  3. Once sugar dissolves, slowly add the arrowroot mixture into the milk and keep stirring continuously on low flame.
  4. Keep stirring until the raw smell of the arrowroot goes off.
  5. Once it starts to thicken up, add chopped nuts,give it a slight stir and switch off the flame.
  6. Serve hot or if you wish,you can refrigerate the pudding for an hour to serve cold.
  7. Garnish with nuts and serve it the way you like.
