Ingredients to make Khandvi

  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 2-1/2 Cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1-1/2 Tsp Green chilli Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp asafoetida
  • salt as per taste
  • Tempering (2 Tbsp Oil, 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seed, 1/4 Tsp asafoetida)
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves

How to make Khandvi

  1. Mix Chickpea Flour, Buttermilk, Turmeric Powder, Green Chilli Paste & Salt.
  2. Place the mixture in the microwave safe bowl and microwave it for 15 mins.
  3. Stir in between after every 3 mins.
  4. When the batter becomes thick spread it evenly on the platform/Thali
  5. Cut it in the long strips and roll each of them.
  6. Heat the oil, once it becomes hot add Mustard seeds Asafoetida and curry leaves.
  7. Sprinkle it over the Khandvi and garnish it with Coriander Leaves.
