Soya Orange Chicken

Ingredients to make Soya Orange Chicken

  • chicken - 500 gms
  • chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 2 tbsp
  • Dry Red chillies - 2 broken
  • ginger sliced - 1 tsp
  • garlic sliced - 1 tsp
  • onion - 2 medium sliced
  • Soya Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Orange juice - ½ cup
  • Oregano - ½ tsp

How to make Soya Orange Chicken

  1. Take the chicken in a bowl and add 1 tsp Chilly powder, pepper powder and salt to taste, mix well and keep aside while you make the other ingredients ready.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add the dry red chillies and saute for few secs.
  3. Add the ginger garlic and saute for a min.
  4. Add the onion and saute till translucent.
  5. Add the chicken, mix well and cook on low-medium heat for about 5 mins.
  6. Add Soya sauce and orange juice.
  7. Add the remaining chilly powder,
  8. Mix well, cover the pan and cook on medium heat stirring occasionally till the water is evaporated which will take about 10-15 mins.
  9. Add the oregano and salt if required and cook for 2-3  mins and take off the heat.
  10. I garnish with some chopped red chillies.
