Sweet Banana Fritters

Ingredients to make Sweet Banana Fritters

  • Super ripe bananas – 2 ( medium sized)
  • sugar – 1/2 cup
  • all purpose flour / Maida – 1/2 cup.
  • sooji / White Rava – 1 tsp
  • oil – for deep frying.

How to make Sweet Banana Fritters

  1. In a bowl peel and mash the bananas well without any lumps to gravy consistency.
  2. Then add sugar , maida , sooji and mix well till all the ingredients incorporate with each other well.
  3. Heat oil in a wide pan and using your hand take a handful of banana batter and drop it in oil as small balls.
  4. Fry till dark golden brown in medium flame. Drain the oil and serve hot or even next day.

My Tip:

The batter consistency is important, too runny will absorb more oil and the stiff batter will make fritters too hard so adjust maida quantity accordingly. Use fully ripen very soft bananas for the best result. Don't heat oil to piping hot, very hot oil burns the fritters outside but center part remains uncooked. When refrigerated you can enjoy for 4 days, even without refrigeration it remains well for 2 days.
