Tomato Chutney

Ingredients to make Tomato Chutney

  • Chopped tomatoes 6
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped or crushed garlic 7-6 pods
  • Grated ginger 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 2 tsp (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • Rai 1/2 tsp
  • jeera 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted and crushed peanuts 1 tbsp
  • oil 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Dry coriander powder 1 tsp

How to make Tomato Chutney

  1. In a deep pan add oil
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin
  3. Add curry patta
  4. Add onions, garlic,ginger
  5. cook for some time
  6. Add red chili
  7. Add haldi
  8. Add dry coriander powder
  9. Now add tomato and cook for 5 minutes
  10. Add salt, sugar, peanuts
  11. When tomato become soft switch off the flame
  12. Add coriander and serve

My Tip:

Serve with paneer parathas. It is an awesome combination
