Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chopped tomatoes 6
  2. Chopped onion 1
  3. Chopped or crushed garlic 7-6 pods
  4. Grated ginger 1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar 2 tsp (optional)
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Rai 1/2 tsp
  8. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  9. Roasted and crushed peanuts 1 tbsp
  10. Oil 2 tsp
  11. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  12. Dry coriander powder 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a deep pan add oil
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin
  3. Add curry patta
  4. Add onions, garlic,ginger
  5. cook for some time
  6. Add red chili
  7. Add haldi
  8. Add dry coriander powder
  9. Now add tomato and cook for 5 minutes
  10. Add salt, sugar, peanuts
  11. When tomato become soft switch off the flame
  12. Add coriander and serve

It can also be pureed and served with idlies and dosa as a tangy accompliment.
