ABOUT Finger Licking Drumstick Veggie RECIPE

We Gujaratis enjoy licking fingers when the gravy is extraordinary. The flavor and taste of roasted gram flour with curd, in the gravy is just amazing.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Drumsticks 4
  2. Besan 2 tbsp
  3. Curd 2 tbsp
  4. Groundnuts a handful
  5. Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  8. Dhania powder 1 tsp
  9. Oil for seasoning 1 tbsp
  10. Coriander leaves chopped 1 tsp
  11. Sugar 1 tsp ( optional)
  12. Asafoetida and mustard seeds for seasoning.
  13. Chilli (according to taste)

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel, chop, and pressure cook Drumsticks for 4-5 whistles with the required amount of water.
  2. Roast gram flour without oil
  3. Take out in a plate.
  4. Roast groundnuts.
  5. Now heat oil in a pan ( kadhai). Add asafoetida and mustard seeds
  6. After it crackles add crushed garlic.
  7. Saute for 30 seconds and add roasted gram flour.
  8. Now add hot water by stirring constantly. ( you can use same water in which you cooked Drumsticks.
  9. Now add salt and all masala
  10. Beat the curd and add. Add ground Peanuts too.
  11. Let everything mix well. Now add Drumsticks. Let it boil for 3 minutes. Now your Finger licking Drumstick is ready to serve.
