Ingredients to make Hyderbadi chicken biryani

  • chicken 500gm
  • Curd4tblps
  • salt
  • Kashmiri redchilli poweder
  • Garam masala poweder
  • Catch biryani masala
  • 1 lemon Juice
  • 1tsp turmeric
  • 2tblps ghee
  • 3-4 green chjlli
  • Handfull coriander leave
  • Handfull mint leave
  • Green caradamom poweder
  • ginger and garlic paste
  • Fried onion(7-8)
  • Edible orange food color
  • Sahi jeera
  • Whole green and black caradamom
  • Cinamom
  • cloves
  • Black pepper
  • javitri
  • star anise
  • India gate basumati rice(1kg)

How to make Hyderbadi chicken biryani

  1. First marianate the chicken with salt,ginger garlic paste,turmeric, redchilli poweder,green chilli,curd,lemon juice,ghee,green caradamom poweder,garam masala,Biryani masala poweder,coriander leave, mint leave,fried onion..
  2. Keep some fried onion,green caradamon poweder,mint and coriander leave,ghee,garam masala poweder for layering the biryani.
  3. Keep the marinated chicken for 6-7 hrs
  4. Soak the basmati rice for 1hr Then take big vess add water salt all the whole garam masala.salt.lit ghee,then cook the rice till it is 3/4th done.then drain the water and keep the half cooked rice separately
  5. Then take a vessel add half of the marinated chicken then add half of the cooked rice,then sprinkle ghee,fried onion,mint and coriander leave,garam masala poweder,green caradamom poweder,edible orange food color.then add anothet layer of chicken then repeat the same process of layering ..cover the vessel with aluminium foil.switch on the gas.place a tawa below the vessel.first 5 min cook in a high flame.then simmer the gas..cook it for 45-60 min.
