Kesar Peda

Ingredients to make Kesar Peda

  • ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Milk powder - 1 cup
  • Condensed Milk - 200 ml
  • saffron strings - 5-10
  • cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • pistachio and almond flakes for garnishing

How to make Kesar Peda

  1. Melt ghee in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Add milk powder and condensed milk to it, mix it well and microwave for 1 minute.
  3. After 1 minute remove it from the microwave and add saffron strings soaked in 1 tbsp milk and cardamom powder. Mix them well and microwave it for another 1 minute.
  4. Remove the mixture from the microwave and mix it well.
  5. Again microwave it for another 1 minute till the mixture puffs up.
  6. Remove the mixture from microwave and cool it for 10 minutes.
  7. Mix it and roll the pedas into small balls and garnish it with pistachio and almond flakes. It will make 44 small pedas.
