Chilli Mushroom

Ingredients to make Chilli Mushroom

  • mushrooms - 250 gms
  • capsicum - 1
  • onions - 2 to 3 medium
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
  • Tomata sauce - 6 tspn
  • Soya sauce - 3 tspn
  • chilli Sauce - 1 tspn
  • vinegar - 3 tspn
  • Ajinomito - 1 pinch
  • Corn flour - 2 tspn
  • cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
  • Red chillies - 1 to 2

How to make Chilli Mushroom

  1. Cut the mushrooms and wash it in Luke warm water.
  2. Heat oil, add cumin seeds and red chillies and allow them to splutter.
  3. Add chopped onions and saute till it becomes translucent.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste to it.
  5. Add the chopped capsicum. After cooking for 1 min add salt to it.
  6. Step by step add the spices, haldi and black pepper.
  7. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 min till it leaves it's own water.
  8. Meanwhile, in a bowl add tomato sauce.
  9. Then add soya sauce.
  10. And finally chilli sauce.
  11. Pour the sauces into the mushrooms, vinegar and ajinomoto and stir well. Dry chilli mushroom is ready.
  12. For gravy, add 2 cups of water and let it boil.
  13. Mix corn flour into water to form a solution and add in the mushrooms.
  14. This thickens the gravy and chilli mushroom with gravy is ready.

My Tip:

Mushroom can be fried before hand which saves times while preparing the dish.
