Ingredients to make Raw banana cutlet

  • Raw banana 2 large
  • ginger 1 inch grated
  • garlic 6 pods finely chopped
  • Boiled sweet corn 1/4th cup
  • White sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
  • green chillies 3 finely chopped
  • Chat masala 1 Teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

How to make Raw banana cutlet

  1. Take water in a pressure cooker
  2. Add turmeric powder to it
  3. Peel the bananas and cut into halves
  4. Add to the turmeric water
  5. Close the lid of the pressure cooker
  6. Cook for two whistles
  7. After two whistles switch off the gas
  8. Let the pressure settle down by itself
  9. When the pressure settles down open the pressure cooker
  10. Take out the bananas and keep aside to cool down
  11. Now in a bowl take boiled sweet corn
  12. Add grated ginger
  13. Add chopped garlic
  14. Add chopped green chillies
  15. Add SALT
  16. Add chat masala
  17. Add sesame seeds
  18. Now add the bananas
  19. Mix together all the ingredients to bring them together
  20. Now heat oil in a pan
  21. When the oil becomes hot take in small ball size banana mix
  22. Flatten it a little using your palm
  23. Slowly drop it into the oil
  24. Fry in medium heat till it becomes golden
  25. Repeat this for all the cutlets
  26. Serve hot with your favorite chutney

My Tip:

Instead of deep frying you can also shallow fry them.
