Banana lemon rasam

Ingredients to make Banana lemon rasam

  • Steamed boiled raw banana paste 6 teaspoons
  • water 4 cups
  • Boiled toor dal 4 teaspoons
  • coriander leaves 3 teaspoons
  • curry leaves 1 teaspoon
  • salt per taste
  • red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Rasam powder 2 teaspoons
  • lemon juice 4 teaspoons
  • ghee 1 teaspoon
  • mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  • red chillies 4
  • jeera seeds 1 teaspoon
  • hing powder 1 teaspoon

How to make Banana lemon rasam

  1. In a bowl add water, salt, sugar, steamed banana paste and boiled toor dal.
  2. Add rasam powder and keep it on the stove, let it boil well.
  3. Temper with mustard seeds, jeera seeds, red chillies, hing powder, finally add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.

My Tip:

You can add boiled moong dal also.
