ABOUT Banana Rasayana RECIPE

A simple sweet dish from Karnataka cuisine. This goes well as a dessert or for navratri fasting. On regular days, it can be served with chapattis and pooris.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ripe bananas - 2
  2. Jaggery - 2 tspn
  3. Coconut milk - 1 cup
  4. Elaichi - 2
  5. Grated coconut - 1 tspn

Instructions

  1. Cut the ripe bananas into slices.
  2. Add the jaggery and elaichi and mix.
  3. Add coconut milk and mix.
  4. Leave for 15 min so that the jaggery flavour completely dissolves with milk.
  5. Sprinkle grated coconuts and serve.
