Ingredients to make Moong dal dhokla

  • 1 cup moong yellow dal
  • 1/4 cup rice
  • 2 tsp ginger, garlic and chilli paste
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbs curd
  • 1 tsp Eno
  • 2 tbs oil for tadka
  • Mustard seed, sesame seeds and curry patta for tadka

How to make Moong dal dhokla

  1. Soak the dal and rice together for 4 hours
  2. Mix crushed dal-rice with curd and ginger garlic and chilli paste.
  3. Let it rest for 10 minutes
  4. Add Eno in the batter
  5. Now the mix is ready for steaming.
  6. Make the Dhokla in Dhokla maker.
  7. Make tadka using the tadka ingredients and add-in it.
