Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer grated- 250 gm
  2. Maida for binding-2 tbsp
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Garam masala- 1tsp
  5. Green chilli- 2 chopped
  6. Red chilli powder- 1/2tsp
  7. Saunf powder- 1/2tsp
  8. ginger- garlic paste- 1tsp
  9. Fried onion paste- 1/2 cup
  10. Kaju n posta paste- 1/4 cup (cashew and poppy seeds)
  11. Oil/ghee- for frying
  12. Turmeric powder- 1/4tsp
  13. Sabji masala- 1/2tsp
  14. Tomato puree- 1cup
  15. Grated ginger- 1 inch piece
  16. Coriander leaves- a few chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix grated paneer, maida and salt, mix well.
  2. Make a fine paste of onion, kaju and posta, fry in 2 tbsp oil.
  3. Taka a bowl, soak soya granules, mix salt, green chilli, coriander, ginger and garam masala.
  4. Take the Paneer paste and shape into oval, fill in soya granules.pat into an egg shape. Deep fry till golden.
  5. Take a pan put in oil or desi ghee, add ginger- garlic paste, onion paste, kaju paste, garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, soya granules, tomato puree and the saunf powder. Cook for 10 mins.
  6. Take a bowl put in kofte than spread gravy on top, garnish with coriander leaves and eat with naan /lacha paratha.
