ABOUT Caramel Banana and Cottage Cheese Parfaits RECIPE

Caramel Banana and Cottage Cheese Parfaits are a no cook, easy to assemble layered dessert. Gluten free and simple to make. This dish is inspired from Chef Harpal Sigh

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  2. 2 nos banana
  3. 1/2 cup Cottage cheese
  4. 1/4 cup melted dark chocolate
  5. 2 tbsp icing sugar (optional)
  6. vanilla ice-cream as needed
  7. whipped cream for topping
  8. few nos chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into roundels and add half of it to the caramel sauce. Keep aside
  2. Beat the cottage cheese until creamy. Add chocolate sauce and icing sugar. Beat until combined. Load it to a piping bag.
  3. To assemble: Add some chocolate chips to the bottom of the glass.
  4. Add bananas that are dunked in caramel sauce. About 2 tbsp or up-to a desired height.
  5. Use piping bag to add the cottage cheese mixture on top of caramel bananas for an even finish. (you can choose to spoon the mixture)
  6. Use the plain banana roundels to stick it to the sides of the glass forming a circle with a center in between. (Refer the images above)
  7. Fill the center with vanilla ice-cream
  8. Top it all with whipped cream and drizzle some caramel sauce.
