Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  4. Sugar 2 tbsp
  5. Pure Ghee
  6. Elaichi powder a pinch
  7. Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make a dough with wheat flour as we make for chapati.
  2. Add to this flour salt, red chilli powder and 1 tsp pure ghee before kneading.
  3. Keep aside for some time.
  4. Make chapatis from this and again keep aside for few minutes.
  5. Now tear these chapatis into pieces and put them in the grinder.
  6. Grind them coarsely. Do this with start stop method to grind.
  7. Do not run grinder continuously otherwise it will turn mushy.
  8. Take a pan, add 1 tbsp ghee, put this chapati mixture, add sugar and elaichi powder.
  9. Saute the mixture well only for 5 minutes on low flame.
  10. Don't let the sugar melt. Add nuts.
  11. Serve immediately.
