ABOUT Banana kathi rolls RECIPE

Its a roll with a very unique filling. Great for takeaway, parties and even tea time snack. Moreover it is baked not fried.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For dough
  2. maida 1 cup
  3. salt to taste
  4. oil 2 tsp
  5. water as required
  6. For filling
  7. Boiled and mashed banana (1 cup)
  8. salt to taste
  9. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  10. Green coriander 3 tsp
  11. Chaat masala 1 tsp
  12. oil for brushing
  13. For garnishing
  14. Green chutney
  15. cabbage Julienne

Instructions

  1. Make tight dough by adding maida, salt and oil. Knead with required water.
  2. Take a mixing bowl. Add banana mash, salt, red chilli powder, coriander and chaat masala. Mix well
  3. Make balls from dough. Roll out thin roti. Spread filling mixture. Roll it tightly.
  4. Make all the rolls like this.
  5. Take a microwaveable tray. Grease it. Put rolls on it. Brush them with oil.
  6. Bake it on 200 Degree in a preheated microwave for 35-40 minutes or till golden colour.
  7. When baked cut into half. Serve with green chutney and cabbage Julienne.
