Sheera/Aate Ka Halwa

Ingredients to make Sheera/Aate Ka Halwa

  • wheat flour coarsely 1 medium bowl
  • jaggery grated less then 1 bowl or 3/4
  • ghee 4/5 tbsp
  • water 2 glass
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped cashew 7/8
  • Chopped almond 10/12
  • Chopped pistachio 10
  • Some almond pistachio and cardamom powder for garnish

How to make Sheera/Aate Ka Halwa

  1. Take a kadhai add ghee and flour and roast it.
  2. Take a deep vessel add 2 glass water and jaggery for boiling on another gas.
  3. Now keep stirring to flour mixture without any intervals.
  4. When it becomes light brown in colour and you kitchen filled by aroma of flour add jaggery water in it.
  5. Keep stirring the mixture.
  6. After 8 to 10 minute mixture becomes thick and evaporate excess water. It start to leave sides of kadhai.
  7. Now add chopped nuts and cardamom powder and mix well.
  8. Your halwa is ready to serve.
  9. Serve with nuts as your wish.

My Tip:

You can use milk instead of water or sugar in place of jaggery.
