Keema Paalak Pakoras

Ingredients to make Keema Paalak Pakoras

  • Mince mutton or chicken 250 gm
  • spinach leaves chopped 2 cups
  • Green onions or spring onions 1 bunch chopped
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • gram flour or besan 1/2 cup
  • coriander leaves chopped a handful
  • Red onions 2 sliced
  • oil for frying

How to make Keema Paalak Pakoras

  1. Gather all the ingredients for making the pakora batter
  2. Coriander leaves to be finely chopped as well.
  3. There is no need of water at all for mixing. Just mix all the ingredients well to form a thick batter.
  4. Use the hands for uniform mixing. Spinach and onions release moisture,so there is no need of any water.
  5. Rest the batter for 20 mins at least and meanwhile heat the oil on low flame.
  6. Deep fry them in hot oil on low to medium flame only. Use a spoon to drop them in oil
  7. Or your hands to drop them.
  8. Deep fry them on both the sides turning them for the uniform colour. Do not hurry. Each batch takes minimum 8-10 mins.
  9. Drain them on an absorbent paper and serve hot with ketchup or any dip of your choice.

My Tip:

The masalas can be adjusted accordingly but keep all the other measurements exact for yummy pakoras.
