Shahi Matar Paneer

Ingredients to make Shahi Matar Paneer

  • 250-300 gms panner (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup matar boil (fresh or Frozen)
  • 2 medium onions (paste)
  • 2 medium tomatoes (boil and paste)
  • 1 spoon ginger and garlic paste
  • Half spoon kusuri methi
  • Half spoon coriander powder
  • Half spoon red chilli powder
  • Half spoon turmeric powder
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 spoon gram malasa
  • 2-3 table spoon oil
  • salt to taste
  • 8-10 cashewnuts
  • 1 spoon magaj
  • 2 -3 table spoon cream
  • Half cup milk
  • coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Shahi Matar Paneer

  1. Heat oil in a pan. add cloves, cinnamon stick, after few seconds add onions let the colour change to golden brown.
  2. After this add ginger and garlic paste saute it well now it's time to all the spices.after 1 to 2 mins Add tomatoes after few seconds add cashewnuts and magaj paste saute it well few seconds
  3. Now it's time to add panner and Matar saute it after few second add cream milk and water cover it and cook it for 5 mins.
  4. After 5 mins take out in a container and garnish it with coriander leaves.

My Tip:

For more taste you can cook it in butter.
