Ingredients to make Methi Murg | Fresh Fenugreek Leaves Chicken | मेथी मुर्ग

  • 500 gm chicken
  • 2 cup methi leaves
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 4 big tomatoes chopped
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ cup curd
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 10 garlic pods crushed
  • ½ inch ginger crushed
  • 1 tsp Garam masala

How to make Methi Murg | Fresh Fenugreek Leaves Chicken | मेथी मुर्ग

  1. Heat oil in pan. Add cumin seeds.
  2. Add chopped onion.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder.
  4. Cook till onion is well cooked.
  5. Add chopped green chilies, chopped tomatoes, red chili, coriander powder and garam masala.
  6. Add beaten curd and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add chopped methi and chicken. Mix well and cook covered for 5 minutes on low flame.
  8. Add salt and cover and cook for 10 minutes more.
  9. Open lid. Increase the flame and cook till you get gravy to a desired consistency.
