Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken with bones or Boneless, 1 kg.
  2. Onions 5 no
  3. Tomatoes 3 no
  4. mint leaves handful
  5. Fresh Dhania handful
  6. Garlic half bulb
  7. Ginger 3 inch
  8. Green chillies as per choice
  9. Black papper 10 no
  10. Cinnamon small stick
  11. Cloves 5 no
  12. Mace
  13. Jeera /Cumin half tb spn
  14. Bay leaf 1 no
  15. Black Cardamom 1 no
  16. Kashmiri Chilly powder
  17. Turmeric
  18. Dahi half cup
  19. Oil/Ghee
  20. Salt

Instructions

  1. Grind All dry masalas and ginger, garlic, mint, dhania and green chillies into a smooth paste.
  2. Add curd, red chilly powder, turmeric and blend well.
  3. Marinate chicken in this at least for half an hour.
  4. Chop onion fine or mince
  5. Puree tomatoes
  6. Heat oil/Ghee
  7. Brown onions
  8. Add tomatoes
  9. Mix well saute till mushy.
  10. Add marinated chicken.
  11. Saute on low flame for 15 minutes.
  12. Adjust water as per choice.
  13. Add salt.
  14. Cook till done.
  15. Serve with roties or rice.
