ABOUT Maggi Misal RECIPE

To make your kid eat Poha, just add his favorite maggi and vegetables. (kids recipe, my innovation)

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For preparation of maggi
  2. Maggi 1/2 packet
  3. Maggi masala 1/4 pouch
  4. Onion grated 1/2
  5. Tomato Ketchup 1 Tbsp
  6. Garlic crushed 1/2 tsp
  7. ginger grated 1/4 tsp
  8. Dhania powder 1/4 tsp
  9. Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  10. Butter 1 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Water double the required quantity.
  13. For poha preparation
  14. Poha 1 1/2 cup
  15. Moth sprout 2 tsp
  16. Onion 1( big)
  17. Carrot chopped fine 1 tbsp
  18. Purple cabbage chopped 2 tsp
  19. Tomato 1 chopped
  20. Green Chilli chopped 1
  21. Salt, turmeric to taste
  22. Curd 1 tbsp
  23. Asafoetida a pinch
  24. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  25. Oil 1 tbsp
  26. Aloo Bhujia sev 2 tbsp
  27. Chopped tomato fine 1 tbsp
  28. Boondi 1 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. For making Poha.
  2. Wash and soak poha for 2 minutes. Squeeze out water. Keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add Asafoetida and mustard seeds. Once it crackles add chopped chilli.
  4. Now add chopped onion, saute add Chopped Tomato, saute.
  5. Add all masala and a pinch of salt.
  6. Now add beaten curd ( this will help poha to be soft), give a stir and add Poha immediately.
  7. Adjust all masala mentioned. Add little Sugar and turn off the gas.
  8. For making Maggie
  9. Take 1 cup water, boil, add Maggi masala. Just break noodles small and add. Let it cook.
  10. Till that heat butter in another pan, add grated onion and saute.
  11. Add all masala mentioned (except Tomato ketchup) and saute well.
  12. Add this to the cooked Maggi gravy. Now add Tomato ketchup. Adjust the taste. Turn off gas.
  13. Check the consistency of the gravy. We have to add it to poha.
  14. Now take prepared Poha in a plate, poue prepared gravy, add Bhujia sev, Boondi, Chopped Tomato, and a pinch of Parsley.
  15. Serve your kid with this new tasty combination he would love.
